Transfer is not included in the basic price of the trip, but it can be added on many of our destinations during the booking process. If you want transfer, it’s easiest to add it while booking, as transfer cannot be arranged afterwards.
If you have included transfer in your package, you will find a voucher (transfer ticket) in your travel documents under My Holidays. The voucher contains important information about your transfer. It will show either a QR code or a link where you can find detailed pick-up information for both the outbound and return journeys, as well as contact details for the transfer company.
Your transfer will be waiting for you upon arrival at your destination (the time shown on your voucher is your flight time, not your transfer pick-up time). Please follow the instructions on the voucher. If, for any reason, there is an issue and your transfer is not in place, go to the information desk available at some destinations and/or contact the local emergency number shown on your voucher.
For the return journey, the pick-up time and location will be shown at the earliest 24 hours before departure via the link/QR code. It is important to use the link/QR code to access the exact pick-up time and location. If your transfer is not there at the agreed time, you must contact the transfer company using the emergency number shown on the voucher.
If you, against all expectations, have to take a taxi to/from the hotel, please keep the receipt and contact us via our contact form so we can investigate what may have gone wrong.
SAS Holidays usually offers two different transfer options:
Shuttle bus/transfer: You share transport with other passengers, and the bus size is adjusted to the number of arrivals and their chosen hotels. This may mean the bus makes several stops on the way to your hotel. If you prefer a quicker and smoother transfer, private transfer is recommended. Bus transfers are usually a cheaper option, and the price is stated per person. Please note: Access to some hotels can be limited, which means the bus cannot always drive all the way to the hotel entrance. In these cases, the bus stops at the nearest available point, which may require a short walk to the hotel.
Taxi transfer: This is a private transfer for you and your travel party. This option is usually a bit more expensive, but in return you will always travel directly to your hotel. The price is stated per person, and the taxi company usually accepts up to four passengers. Arrival at the airport: At most destinations, you will be met by a representative when you exit the arrivals hall. This person will hold a sign with your/your tour operator’s name. At some destinations, you need to go to an office in or near the arrivals hall. The exact procedure for your destination is stated on your transfer ticket. If you cancel a transfer, a refund is usually not provided.
